Bargain-buy Seafront lands Black-Type!
Seafront continues to defy her sales price of just 18,000 guineas and has now added a black-type place to her maiden win by finishing 3rd in the Listed Fillies’ Sprint Stakes at Naas.
Chris Hayes positioned the daughter of Foxwedge towards the rear early and got caught in traffic but came with a good late run just failing to get 2nd place by a short-head. She holds an entry in the Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot this week but she may wait for the Group 3 Grangecon Stud Stakes at The Curragh on 26th June.
Seafront leads the way for Jamesfield Place’s 2yos but the others aren’t far behind her as both Second Nature and Kyllang Rock were placed on their debuts last week and another daughter of Foxwedge, Urban Fox, broke her maiden at the first time of asking at Yarmouth on 9th June.
