Kyllang Rock brings up our 200th winner!
Kyllang Rock broke his maiden in impressive style at Windsor on Monday evening and in doing so brought up the yard’s 200th winner in less than 5 seasons.
Andrea Atzeni restrained Sheikh Juma’s son of Kyllachy in the early stages but travelled supremely well and always looked to have the contest in safe keeping. He only had to be nudged out to break his maiden in comfortable fashion. He is now likely to be prepared for the Listed Julia Graves Stakes at York’s big Ebor meeting possibly stopping off at one race in between.
The yard didn’t have to wait long for winner numbers 201, 202 and 203 as Coronation Day also broke her maiden with ease at Catterick on Wednesday, Brazos came back to form in a competitive 7F handicap at Doncaster on Thursday and Second Nature broke his maiden in a hot looking contest at Nottingham on Friday. His win was the yard’s 8th winner in July and we are only halfway through the month.
