Invincible Army & Hey Gaman narrowly miss out on Group 2 glory!

The yard’s two new stars, Invincible Army and Hey Gaman, both put up great performances in narrowly missing out on Group 2 success in September.

Firstly, Sultan Ali’s Hey Gaman put up a bold front-running display when going down by a neck to the Aidan O’Brien trained Seahenge in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster. With the ground drying up for the mud-loving son of New Approach, connections were left wondering what might have been.

Secondly, Saeed Manana’s Invincible Army finished 2nd to James Garfield in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury.  Denied a clear run one furlong out, he was flying at the finish but it was too late.

Being big strong colts, their futures look bright with Hey Gaman being prepared as a 2018 Guineas contender and Invincible Army being targeted at the 2018 Commonwealth Cup.
