CLOUD COVER TAKES LISTED PRIX SATAMIXA!
Cloud Cover gained a well-deserved first Black Type win when taking the Listed Prix Satamixa at Deauville.
Saeed Manana’s homebred daughter of Night of Thunder was positioned in behind the leaders by Aurelien Lemaitre before surging to the front in the final furlong. This was the yard’s second Listed winner at Deauville this year after Mount Athos took the Prix Irish River in November.
Cloud Cover was already an AW Finals Champion but had been an unlucky third in the Listed Cooley Stakes at Dundalk last time so this was a well-deserved first Listed victory.
